Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using SelfAI – AI Headshot Generator ("the App", "SelfAI"), operated by Rocket Digital Limited ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the iOS app, Android app, and web application available at www.selfiai.ai.

SelfAI is an AI headshot generator and AI photo studio that helps users create professional headshots, LinkedIn photos, business portraits, profile pictures, and personal branding photos from uploaded selfies and portraits using artificial intelligence technology.

The App is powered by AI infrastructure including OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Replicate, and Fal.ai. Results are AI-generated and may vary based on uploaded photo quality, lighting, pose, and selected style.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use SelfAI. By using the App, you confirm you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly allow users under 13 to use the App.

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized account access

You agree to use SelfAI only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not:

• Upload images of other people without their explicit consent
• Upload images that are sexually explicit, abusive, hateful, or illegal
• Use the App to create deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access systems without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use automated tools to access or scrape the App
• Use AI-generated headshots to impersonate real people or for fraudulent purposes
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

By uploading photos to SelfAI, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process those images solely for the purpose of generating your requested AI headshots. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to use all photos you upload
• Uploading the photos does not violate any third-party rights
• The photos comply with our Acceptable Use policy above

AI-generated results are based on your uploaded photo. Results may vary and are not guaranteed to meet specific quality or realism standards. We do not guarantee that AI headshots will be accepted by any platform, employer, or organization.

7.1 Our Content. All content, features, and functionality of SelfAI — including the App code, design, UI, logos, and AI models — are owned by or licensed to Rocket Digital Limited and are protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Generated Headshots. AI-generated headshots created using your uploaded photos are provided to you for personal and commercial use, subject to these Terms. You may use your generated headshots for LinkedIn profiles, resumes, business profiles, personal websites, and similar professional purposes.

7.3 Your Uploaded Content. You retain ownership of photos you upload. We do not claim ownership of your original photos.

SelfAI offers free features and optional paid features through in-app purchases and subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.

Subscription management (including renewals and cancellations) is handled by RevenueCat. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

We reserve the right to modify pricing and features with reasonable notice. No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods except as required by applicable law or the platform's refund policy.

SelfAI may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the App, you consent to the display of such advertisements. Ad personalization is subject to your device's privacy settings and Google's ad policies.

SelfAI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• AI-generated headshots will meet your specific expectations or requirements
• Results will be accepted as professional photos by any platform or employer
• The App will be available at all times

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rocket Digital Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use SelfAI, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or reputation.

Our total liability for any claim related to SelfAI shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rocket Digital Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.

Your use of SelfAI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

SelfAI integrates third-party services including RevenueCat, Firebase, Google AdMob, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Replicate, Fal.ai, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Vercel Analytics. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service terms or practices.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to SelfAI at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at hello@rocketdigital.ai.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of SelfAI after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
